Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
This policy explains what personal information PrimeDope collects when you use https://www.primedope.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It reflects what the site actually does. If anything here is unclear, reach us through the contact page.
Who we are
PrimeDope publishes free poker tools and analysis. For any question about your personal information, or to exercise the rights described below, use the contact page. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our servers and analytics record standard technical data: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of each request.
Affiliate click data. When you click an outbound link to a poker room (a link beginning with /to/), we record the link you used, the destination room, the page you clicked from, and your browser's user-agent. Your IP address is stored only as a one-way, irreversible hash used to distinguish unique clicks. We do not keep your raw IP address for click tracking.
Information you provide. If you post a comment, we store the name and email address you enter with it. If you send a message through the contact page, we store your name, email address, and the content of your message. You choose whether to give us this information.
How we collect it
Through your browser and our server logs, through cookies and analytics set when you load a page, and through the comment and contact forms when you submit them.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors use the site and which tools are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes technical data as described above, including an event recorded when you click an outbound room link. You can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on, or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the tools or content.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We use this information to operate and secure the site, to measure which tools and pages are useful, to understand traffic patterns, to attribute affiliate referrals, and to respond to messages you send us. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, our legal bases are our legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving the site and attributing referrals), your consent where required for analytics cookies, and, for messages you send, handling your request.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers that make the site work:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) for usage analytics.
- Railway, our hosting provider, which processes requests and stores site data.
- Our email provider, used to deliver contact and comment notifications.
- Poker rooms and their affiliate networks. When you click an outbound link, you are taken to the partner's own site. They receive your IP address and may set their own cookies. Their privacy policies, not this one, govern what happens there.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Server logs and analytics data are retained for as long as they are useful for security and trend analysis, subject to Google Analytics' own retention settings. Hashed affiliate click records are kept to measure referral performance over time. Comments remain until you ask us to remove them. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our records.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, use the contact page. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
PrimeDope covers real-money poker and is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, tell us through the contact page and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
When our practices change, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
