BBZ Academy is the staking and development arm of BBZ Poker, separate from the open courses and subscriptions anyone can buy. Players apply, get selected on more than their current results, and are backed to play while they develop under BBZ coaching.
What the Academy provides
Academy players get the full BBZ toolset plus structure that the standalone products do not include on their own.
- Daily seminars. Full access to the eight-per-week live sessions on BBZPoker.com, covering MTT strategy, mental game, and solver-informed concepts aimed at real-game execution.
- Drummond's systems courses. Complete access to Jordan "BBZ" Drummond's Simple Poker Systems catalog, which frames theory as repeatable decision rules rather than spot-by-spot memorization.
- One-on-one coaching. Individual sessions targeted at a player's specific leaks and goals, rather than the group format alone.
- Preflop charts and trainer. The tournament chart sets for cEV, PKO, and ICM situations, with the drilling interface.
- A working community. A group of 140-plus players who study together daily through hand review and discussion.
How selection works
The Academy does not admit on bankroll or current win rate alone. Applicants are evaluated on mindset, work ethic, and long-term potential as much as present skill. The stated aim is a room of motivated players pushing in the same direction, which only works if the intake filters for people who will actually put in study hours.
A staking stable is only as useful as the players in it, so the program is built to keep the standard high rather than to maximize headcount.
Who it is for
