Best Poker Bonuses (2026): Every Room Compared

Every poker room offers a welcome bonus. Most advertise the headline number without context on how hard it is to clear. This page compares every major bonus on clearing rate, expiry, and realistic expected value at common volume levels.

Start with the ranked table, then use the analysis below to separate software polish, cost, liquidity, and geography. This page is built to narrow the field before you open individual room reviews.

Side-by-Side Comparison

Ranked for fast scanning. Use the top row to shortlist, then move into room profiles and methodology before clicking through.

The Headline Number Overstates the Bonus

A $600 bonus with a 90-day expiry and a clearing rate that requires $6,000 in rake is not a $600 bonus. It is a partial rakeback rebate that most players will never fully clear.

The realistic bonus value depends on three factors: how much rake you generate per month, the clearing rate (rake required per dollar of bonus released), and the expiry window. A $200 bonus that clears in 30 days at your normal volume is worth more than a $2,000 bonus that expires before you can unlock half of it.

Clearing Rate Comparison

Clearing rates vary significantly. GGPoker releases bonus in $10 increments for every $60 in rake generated (6:1 ratio). ACR releases $1 for every $27.50 in award points. WPT Global uses a points-based system with variable rates.

The most player-friendly clearing rates are on rooms that release bonus quickly relative to normal play volume. CoinPoker's flat 15% daily rakeback used to supplement its bonus with zero clearing requirement, but it ended on July 1, 2026. The 10% Rewards Boost that replaced it requires a $35 monthly 3-Bet Club membership.

The Rake Calculator Connection

Bonus value is inseparable from rake cost. A room offering a $600 bonus but charging $3/hand more in rake than a competitor will cost you more in the long run than a room with no bonus and lower rake.

Use the rake calculator to model your total cost at your specific stake and volume. Then factor in the realistic bonus clearing amount to get your true effective cost.

Starting With a Low Deposit

A 100% deposit match works at any size: a $10 or $20 first deposit at a low deposit poker site doubles just like a $600 one, and at micro stakes the matched amount covers meaningful play. The bonus maximums in the table only matter if you intend to deposit that much.

Two cautions at small sizes. Check the cashier's minimum deposit before creating an account, since minimums vary by room and payment method, and crypto deposits carry network fees that eat a larger share of a $10 transfer than a $200 one. If you want to test a room before depositing anything, the no deposit bonus page lists the two rooms that still credit funds without a deposit.

Compare exact rake costs at your specific stakes across every room in the table above.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best poker welcome bonus?
It depends on your volume. For high-volume players (50,000+ hands/month), GGPoker's $600 bonus is the most valuable because you can clear it within the 90-day window. For low-volume players, ACR's 27% flat Elite Benefits rakeback provides automatic value without clearing requirements. The best bonus is the one you can fully clear.
Can I claim bonuses at multiple poker rooms?
Yes. Most welcome bonuses are available to all new accounts. There is no rule against having accounts at multiple rooms and claiming each bonus. Many grinders systematically claim bonuses at every room (called bonus whoring or bonus hunting) to maximize their effective rakeback during the bonus period.
Do poker bonuses expire?
Yes. Most poker bonuses have expiry windows ranging from 30 to 90 days. If you do not generate enough rake to clear the full bonus within that window, the uncleared portion is forfeited. GGPoker gives 90 days. ACR gives 60 days. Always check the expiry before depositing.
Is it worth depositing just for the bonus?
Only if you were going to play at that stake level anyway. Depositing more than you would normally play with just to maximize a bonus match is a bankroll management mistake. The bonus should complement your existing play volume, not drive it.
