About bet-at-home

Bet-at-home is one of the longest-serving online bookmakers and was founded in 1999 and has its headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany. The site offers online poker for almost 20 years now and is one the largest iPoker skins.

With peak player numbers of over 2512, there’s always plenty of action at the lower stakes tables, but the high-stakes games at the network have dried up considerably over the past years.

While bet-at-home brings in very many recreational players the tables are shared among all iPoker skins and the level of competition is rather stiff. iPoker has had bot issues in the past. But the comparatively easy-to-clear $1,500 welcome bonus makes bet-at-home worth a look or two.

bet-at-home Traffic

Peak cash game traffic of the iPoker Network over the past years.

The chart above shows the average number (over 60 days) of real money cash game players online during peak hours for the operator. This number does not include tournament players or players in other game variants.

bet-at-home Bonus and Bonus Codes

The bet-at-home deposit bonus is plain, simple, and very strong. New players receive up to €1,500, have two months to clear the bonus and the bonus clears at a rate of €5 per €25 rake paid.

There are no hidden conditions to this bonus and for active players, this is one of the best bonuses available in the entire iPoker network.

bet-at-home Rake and Tournament Fees

bet-at-home is working with the standard iPoker rake model, which is good, but not great. Micro cash games are taxed at 6.67% – quite high, but with a cap of only 50 cents. The higher limits have a lower rake percentage (5%), but significantly higher caps. All stakes past NL50 are capped €4 which is more or less the industry standard these days. It is noteworthy that games and caps are in Euro and thus slightly more expensive than games that are played in Dollars (since 1 Euro is worth more than 1 Dollar).

The tournament fees are roughly 10% across all stakes.

» Online Poker Rake Comparison (for our full poker operator rake comparison)

The table above shows the amount of rake an average player pays per 100 hands for various limits and variants. You can switch the number of players per table and the game variant.

  • Rake / 100 hands: Average amount you can expect to pay in rake every 100 hands.
  • Net Rake: This is how much money you actually spend on rake compared to the pots you are playing.
  • Formal Rake: Rake percentage and cap
  • Rank: This column shows how the operator compares to all other operators (lower is better).
