The Sunday lineup includes the $110 Sunday Slam, the $330 Grand Slam, an $11 Mini Slam, and a $110 Crazy Sunday PKO with a $100K guarantee running on an Asian-friendly time slot. There is also a CNY Millions event every other Sunday at roughly $4.56 entry with a guarantee around $137K.
New tournaments fire approximately every 10 minutes with buy-ins from $2 to $550, going up to $3,200 during special series. Formats cover freezeouts, knockouts, PKOs, mystery bounty, turbos, and deepstacks across NLHE, PLO, and Short Deck.
The low-stakes tournaments are where WPT Global quietly shines. Fields are small and soft, which is exactly what you want if you are building a bankroll or trying to reduce variance. FairGame AI System
WPT Global uses a proprietary AI called FairGame to classify players as either PRO or Non-Pro. The system analyzes your first 300 to 500 hands at each stake level and makes a determination based on playing patterns. It claims around 90% long-term accuracy.
If you get flagged as PRO, the consequences are real. You lose affiliate rakeback on NLHE and Short Deck cash games, you can only sit at tables with a maximum of two other PROs, and you cannot create new tables. Classification at one stake applies to all lower stakes automatically but not higher ones.
The important caveat for tournament players: FairGame does not apply to MTTs or Global Spins. Seating in those formats is random. If you are primarily a tournament grinder, this system has no practical impact on your experience.
For cash players, the math matters. Losing affiliate rakeback means your effective rake jumps significantly. A player earning 30% rakeback at NL1/2 is paying net effective rake around 2.8%. Lose that rakeback as a PRO and you are back to the full 4%, a 43% increase in your rake burden.
